Description
What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
5.6 Terra model on Medium
What subscription do you have?
PLUS
What platform is your computer?
PC - WINDOWS 11
What issue are you seeing?
On the Plus plan, the 5.6 Terra model on Medium isn’t even lasting an hour of use. With a 5-hour cooldown, it becomes impractical to continue working. Ideally, there should be at least 3 hours of uninterrupted usage to make the 5-hour cooldown worthwhile.
As it stands, it simply isn’t worth it, and people will eventually end up switching to other options.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Everyone.
What is the expected behavior?
Tool usability improvements. Limitations are hindering progress.
Additional information
Improvements to the way the tool is managed.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by clarifying how Plus-plan limits and the 5-hour cooldown are managed for the 5.6 Terra model on Medium, using the reported Windows 11 setup as context. Done should be a defined usability improvement that provides substantially longer uninterrupted usage or an explicitly agreed alternative.
