After switching from Codex to ChatGPT (Chat/Work) inside the unified Desktop app, all Codex chats and projects become visible in the ChatGPT view. This contradicts OpenAI's own documentation, which states Codex history is kept separate from ChatGPT history.

Evidence

This was straightforward to confirm unambiguously: I currently have only a small number of chats/projects in Codex, so there was no risk of mistaking pre-existing ChatGPT items for leaked Codex ones. Immediately after switching views, the same small set of Codex chats/projects appeared listed under ChatGPT.

Impact

Breaks the documented separation between Codex (development work) and ChatGPT (general use) — same category of privacy/context-boundary concern raised in #32494 for the reverse direction (ChatGPT history appearing in Codex).

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Open the Desktop app, select Codex from the top-left menu.
2. Confirm Codex has its own chats/projects listed (a small number, in my case, made this easy to verify unambiguously — no risk of confusing them with pre-existing ChatGPT items).
3. Switch to ChatGPT (Chat/Work) from the same top-left menu.
4. Observe: all Codex chats and projects are now visible in the ChatGPT view as well.

What is the expected behavior?

Per OpenAI's own Help Center documentation ("ChatGPT Work and Codex"): "Codex remains a separate view. Its workflows are unchanged, and its history remains separate from ChatGPT history." Codex chats and projects should not appear in the ChatGPT (Chat/Work) view after switching.
