ChatGPT Classic Features Needed in Codex: pop-up chat, 'Work with’ app connections & ChatGPT website features

New Codex can replace ChatGPT Classic, but it has to include the following:

1/ It needs ChatGPT Classic pop-up chat for ChatGPT mode, that stays on top of other applications everywhere and can be called from a global shortcut. That has been one of only two reasons for me to use the macOS app instead of the website, even after the macOS app was downgraded.

2/ ChatGPT, especially in the above pop-up chat, needs ‘Work with’ App connections. There are a lot of instances where development requires discussing with ChatGPT instead of Codex, and many changes are small enough that ChatGPT can apply them. Doing it through Codex is overkill.

3/ While I have seen the ChatGPT website improve a lot in its handling of long conversations, the app has always been able to load bigger conversations when Safari starts slowing. I suspect it is because of access to a better storage system to download conversations in the app than websites/webapps can have. So I appreciate having ChatGPT mode in the app. That is a good direction. However, it is not complete. I do not have access to any of my connectors. And there can be more differences between the app and website; as lack of connectors has limited opportunities to test ChatGPT in this app, please implement them.

I would consider the first 2 as must-haves and the third as a strong suggestion.
