Codex doctor report
What issue are you seeing?
Recently I noticed codex inserts multi-agent V2 subagents at random locations in the subagent list. In the shared thread with 647 subagents, I found one of the recently subagents at 55th place in the list. Searching them by navingating up and down arrows in the tiny subagent 'viewport' (just 8 positions) is impractical.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Uploaded thread: 019fd085-12c4-71d1-a6eb-f3c461356846
What is the expected behavior?
No response
Additional information
Either permit substring or fuzzy search by subagent name via type-in after /subagents command (multi-agent V2 gives subagents semantic names), or separate currently active from currently inactive subagents in the list

Research direction
Start at the /subagents command and inspect the list navigation and its eight-position viewport, using the uploaded thread as a reproduction reference. Clarify whether the intended completion is substring or fuzzy name search, or separating active and inactive subagents, then verify the chosen behavior makes distant subagents practical to find.
