Description

26.810.7004.0
What subscription do you have?

What platform is your computer?
Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.22631.0 x64
What issue are you seeing?
I am writing to report a critical issue that my computer becomes unresponsive and the mouse stops working entirely whenever I run Codex tasks. This happens with both wired and wireless mice.
My PC specifications are as follows:
- Processor: Intel Core i5‑13600KF 3.50GHz
- RAM: 32.0 GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB
- Motherboard: B760M GAMING X AX DDR4
- Storage: 2.73 TB
Before updating to the new Codex version, mouse freezing already occurred frequently, though not as severe. After upgrading to the latest release, every time I launch and execute a Codex task, the mouse locks up immediately and I lose control of the whole system.
Could you please help investigate this compatibility problem? Please let me know if you require further logs or system information for troubleshooting.
Thank you for your assistance.

Research direction
Start by examining the uploaded performance trace 019fff66-aa6f-7342-a553-b5330a8ec639 and the Codex task execution path on Microsoft Windows 10.0.22631.0 x64. Reproduce the freeze with the reported Codex App version and verify that launching and running a task no longer makes the mouse or system unresponsive.
