Description

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.803.81509

What subscription do you have?

PLUS

What platform is your computer?

Windows

What issue are you seeing?

When ChatGPT mode is selected and you have used your usage limit allowance in codex, then you try to do voice mode (With ChatGPT selected, not Work or codex) , it says you have hit your usage limit. And as such voice mode cant be used.

You can login to the web app or mobile and still use voice mode, just doesn’t work in the app.

Same for linux app, windows app etc.

Research direction

No source file or test is named. Reproduce this in the Windows or Linux app with ChatGPT mode selected after the Codex usage allowance is exhausted, then compare the behavior with the web or mobile app. Done means Voice mode remains usable in ChatGPT mode despite the separate Codex usage limit.
