Description

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.810.41047

What subscription do you have?

Plus Plan

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 27.0.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

When I visit the "Control this Mac", the "Allow connections" setting always disabled, while it's technically enabled, as I was able to control from other devices. If I flip the toggle, it will flip it back to disabled with and error after a short while.

What steps can reproduce the bug?
  • Navigate to Settings > Connections > Control this Mac
  • Toggle the "Allow connections" setting
What is the expected behavior?

I should be able to toggle on/off normally.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue in Codex App on Darwin 27.0.0 arm64 by opening Settings > Connections > Control this Mac and toggling Allow connections. Compare the displayed disabled state with the fact that connections can still work, and use the reported Feedback ID to investigate the toggle error. Done means the setting can be toggled on and off normally without reverting or showing an error.
