What issue are you seeing?

Yesterday, the Codex CLI became unresponsive, so I
closed it and started a new CLI session. However,
it appears that the original Codex process remained
alive in the background.

As a result, the old and new Codex CLI sessions
seem to have run simultaneously against the same
worktree. They repeatedly modified the same files,
invalidated each other’s test results, and consumed
nearly all of my available credits without
completing the requested task.

Please review the usage from this incident and
consider restoring or refunding the credits
consumed due to the duplicate background process.
