Description

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.803.81509 (build 6415)

Bundled/local CLI: codex-cli 0.147.0-alpha.6.6

What subscription do you have?

Not shown in the available evidence; account details can be supplied privately if needed.

What platform is your computer?

macOS 26.5.2 (Darwin 25.5.0 arm64)

What issue are you seeing?

The Usage limit resets section in Codex App fails to load and displays:

Couldn’t load usage limit resets

A banked reset expected on the account is therefore not shown or accessible. The section renders only the error and a Retry button instead of the reset inventory.

What steps can reproduce the bug?
  1. Open Codex App.
  2. Open the account/profile usage panel.
  3. Navigate to the Usage limit resets section.
  4. Observe that the section displays “Couldn’t load usage limit resets” instead of the banked reset inventory.
What is the expected behavior?

The section should load and display the account’s available banked resets, including any applicable expiration or redemption information. If the account has no available reset, it should show the normal empty state (for example, “No resets available”) rather than a load failure.

Research direction

Start in the Codex App account/profile usage panel and trace the Usage limit resets section and its Retry action, using the reported macOS and bundled codex-cli versions as context. Reproduce the load failure, identify why the reset inventory is unavailable, and verify that available resets or the normal empty state are shown instead of the error.
