Research direction

The issue does not identify files, tests, or entry points; first locate the desktop app sidebar and its task-list view in the repository. Done means the sidebar can toggle between tasks and the current project's file tree, folders expand or collapse, and files can be opened.

What feature would you like to see?

Please add a toggleable file explorer/tree view to the Codex desktop app's left sidebar. Users should be able to switch between the task list and the current project's file directory, expand or collapse folders, and click files to open them. This would greatly improve navigation in larger projects.
