Description
It would be great if this plugin could directly switch the model section—ideally, the model selection interface would be visible right there at /model.
When using /codex-rescue, if I want it to execute using OpenSpec’s apply function, I must manually update the task.md file—or else rely on another model to update it—which is highly inconvenient. Could this imply that similar errors might occur when it invokes other commands or skills?
Additionally, I’d like to clarify: after running /codex:setup, can I be certain that only Codex will be used in the current session? Or do I need to prefix every Codex command with /codex?

Research direction
Start by reproducing the /model, /codex-rescue, and /codex:setup flows described in the issue and trace how model selection and command invocation are handled. Done means the requested model interface and command behavior are defined and implemented, with the session's Codex-only behavior clearly verified.
