Hi,
There's a more capable alternative (actually, a few, but this worth sharing) to this plugin because of the various limitations and flaws of this one.

It runs real Codex agents from Claude Code via codex app-server + Claude Channels:
- async tasks (start → get session id immediately)
- live progress notifications
- steering / mid-turn instructions
- stop / resume sessions
- proper session continuation
Much closer to actual agent collaboration than the current slash-command wrapper.
Worth checking out if anyone wants a fuller bridge, or transfer this repo to that idea
