Description

Hello
On our pulp3 server, we sync the repository: https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/cvmfs:/contrib/AlmaLinux_9/noarch/
We have had the following error since quite some time:

pulp [7ff0d272d57045d18d1006ef817f7e35]: backoff:ERROR: Giving up download_wrapper(...) after 5 tries (pulpcore.exceptions.validation.DigestValidationError: A file located at the url https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/cvmfs:/contrib/AlmaLinux_9/noarch/python-cvmfsutils-0.5.0-1.12.obs.el9.noarch.rpm failed validation due to checksum. Expected '133d5af3d8db099d15148f5f20f3028e23f35190825e34b4ae31b3dcecbe7886', Actual '8fbae26dc9690ad23dc3a03f12931055ee39307fd8c6f808248d181411332ab4')

Could you please have a look? Thanks in advance!

Research direction

No project file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the RPM sync against the provided openSUSE URL and comparing the expected and actual checksums; done means determining whether MirrorCache serves altered content or the upstream package metadata is stale.
