Description
I'm using open telemetry to track http calls and dependencies into Azure Application Insights, specially to Azure OpenAI service.
After upgrading openai python library from 0.28.1 to 1.2.4, dependency calls related to openai are not being reflected in Application Insights anymore.
Configuration working as expected:
azure-monitor-opentelemetry==1.0.0b16
openai==0.28.1
Configuration not working:
azure-monitor-opentelemetry==1.0.0b16
openai==1.2.4

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. First reproduce the comparison using azure-monitor-opentelemetry 1.0.0b16 with openai 0.28.1 and 1.2.4, then trace why HTTP dependency calls from the newer OpenAI client are absent from Azure Application Insights; done means those dependencies are recorded again.
