Description

I am interested in seeing the performance overhead of adding OTLP to python apps, but I can't seem to find anything. This repo has a benchmarks page but it points to a broken link.

Steps to reproduce

docs/performance/benchmarks.rst:

https://open-telemetry.github.io/opentelemetry-python-contrib/benchmarks/index.html

Research direction

Open docs/performance/benchmarks.rst at the referenced line and inspect the benchmark URL. Confirm the current documentation location or correct destination, update the broken link, and verify that the benchmarks page no longer points to a 404.
