Description
Apologies for cross-posting an issue, but this is as specific to the cpp project as it is the python project, and I'm assuming there are people here that would have good insight. TL;DR - I need an opentelemetry implementation that will work across cpp/python boundaries and I'm assuming some measure of binding this project to python would be involved.
Opentelem-python issue here: https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-python/issues/2691
Thanks

Research direction
Start by reading this issue alongside the linked opentelemetry-python issue #2691. The repository files, entry points, tests, and acceptance criteria are not identified here, so first clarify the required C++/Python boundary behavior and which project should own the implementation. Done should mean a defined interoperability approach with corresponding tests.
