Research direction
Start in pkg/rotator/rotator.go at the referenced lines around 549 and 586, where the 2048-bit key length is hardcoded. Trace how certificates are configured and generated, then identify the existing tests for this path. Done means certificates can use a 4096-bit key without retaining an unavoidable 2048-bit limit.
