Introduction

I'm a data analyst with 2.7 years experience leveraging tools like Tableau, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, SQL and Python to create, clean and visualize data. I have a lot of experience with creating and delivering bespoke Tableau training programs. Besides this, I've studied Political Science at The University of Texas at Austin so I'd love to further explore my academic interests by applying my technical skills in service to civic tech and data for good initiatives!

I'm interested in volunteering with Open Austin because I want to provide mentorship to aspiring analysts as well as technically support data initiatives that Open Austin is working on.

What I want to know

I'd love the chance to improve my understanding of developing ETL/ELT pipelines using cloud services (i.e. AWS) and tools like dbt.

I'd love to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders on end-to-end data projects oriented around topics like housing, transportation, political engagement, education, immigration services and other common socio-economic/public service-related topics.
