Description
On the article: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/15.0/applications/inventory_and_mrp/manufacturing/management/sub_assemblies.html
There is a picture under the "Configure the Subassembly Product" illustrating how to set up a subassembly for manufacture and text instructions "Select the routes Manufacture and Replenish on Order. Now, hit save."
This is confusing as this implies that no matter the manufacturing scenario. Subassemblies need to be MTO which is untrue.
This should be changed to a conditional call out that if MTO is desired or if the need to run scheduler is desired then MTO needs to be enabled.

Research direction
Open the linked sub-assemblies article and start at the “Configure the Subassembly Product” section, especially the image and the instruction to select Manufacture and Replenish on Order. Update the guidance so MTO is presented conditionally for users who want MTO or scheduler-driven replenishment, and verify that the image and wording no longer imply MTO is always required.
