Description

Description

NUMA optimization is a feature designed for new domestic hardware platforms. This functionality is highly dependent on memory management. However, in NUMA scenarios, the memory management metadata overhead increases by an order of magnitude. Since seekdb does not require this feature, removing it can reduce memory usage (this has already been implemented) and simplify the codebase.

Research direction

Start by searching the repository for NUMA-related references and tracing them into the memory-management code. Determine the full set of code and build paths that can be removed, then verify that NUMA-specific functionality is gone, memory usage is reduced, and existing database behavior remains intact.
