Description

Description

When a standby replica transitions to become the primary, it should validate the primary's end_scn. The current implementation is flawed because it does not fetch the primary's flashback state.

Proposed Solution

Fix the logic to correctly retrieve and validate the primary's end_scn (including its flashback state) during the role transition from standby to primary.

Research direction

Start by tracing the standby-to-primary role-transition path and the existing retrieval of the primary's end_scn. Check how flashback state is fetched during that transition, then verify that end_scn validation uses the retrieved state; done means the transition correctly validates the primary's end_scn including flashback state.
