Description

As far as I can tell, there is no simple way in dune to set the C linker flags for a given executable. I understand that it's possible to use an internal library but that's a little convoluted.

Research direction

Start by locating Dune's handling of executable stanzas and the existing internal-library workaround. Trace how C linker flags are configured for executable targets, then determine how per-executable flags should be exposed. Done means an executable stanza can set its C linker flags directly, with coverage for the new behavior.
