Expected Behavior
Do not stop stream by just pressing left CTRL key which is not a global hotkey or not any key at all.
The only global hotkey for Start Streaming and Stop Streaming are CTRL+7 and CTRL+8 (on numpad)
Current Behavior
Sometimes, e.g. once a week, I don't know what triggers it, but stream stops streaming if you press just CTRL while in-game, any game, outside OBS, etc. Just a single CTRL.
Steps to Reproduce
- That's the thing, I can't reproduce it. I can't figure out what triggers this behavior. Restarting OBS doesn't help, but restarting PC does, or hitting actual set hotkeys e.g. in this case CTRL+7 to start stream and then CTRL+8 to stop stream. Then it works again, the CTRL behavior is gone.
- Also log says
Stopping stream due to hotkeywhich is wrong, because none of actual hotkeys were used, just CTRL and it's global. You can have e.g. Notepad as active window, as soon as you press just CTRL, streaming stops? - This happens like once a week, 1 out if 7 streams.

Research direction
Start with the linked OBS log and the hotkey behavior described in the issue. Investigate how a lone left CTRL press could be interpreted as the configured stream hotkey, including the reported state after restarting the PC or using CTRL+7 and CTRL+8. Done means the stream does not stop from pressing CTRL alone and the hotkey log reflects the actual trigger.
