Research direction

Start with the OBS log at https://obsproject.com/logs/sUkDPSowyEBbtmxp and reproduce the listed Windows 11/RPCS3 steps with PS Eye, QT, and OBS Virtual Camera enabled. Compare the behavior with the linked RPCS3 issue and determine whether successive frames are being delivered; done means identifying a reproducible OBS-side cause and verifying that the camera updates in RPCS3, or documenting that the issue is outside OBS.

Expected Behavior

I expect the camera to update instead of getting stuck

Current Behavior

I'm trying to play The Eye of Judgment on the playstation 3 emulator RPCS3 (I have PS Eye & QT enabled in settings) using obs virtual camera, however the camera in-game stays stuck, it's like rpcs3 isn't receiving more than 1 frame from obs.

obs virtual camera works in the playstation 2 emulator PCSX2, any idea why it doesn't on RPCS3?
I already asked on RPCS3 github but they couldn't tell me much unfortunately, so I thought to give a try here as well https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/issues/14029

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Enable obs virtual camera
  2. on RPCS3 set camera handler to PS Eye, and Camera Handler to QT else the game won't work, set camera to OBS Virtual Camera
  3. Open the game and enter a game mode to use the camera, it'll stay stuck on 1 frame
Anything else we should know?
