Expected Behavior

Don't crash

Current Behavior

Hangs or crashes. Not entirely sure what the difference is, first time I noticed it, it shut OBS off instantly - no crash message or anything. The re-produce on a clean 29.1.2 seems to just indefinitely hang it.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Clean OBS
  2. Tools > Decklink Output > 'Output' Start
  3. Doubleclick 'Preview Output' Start twice fast.
  4. Crash/Indefinite hanging
Anything else we should know?

Research direction

Reproduce on Windows 11 with OBS 29.1.2 using Tools > Decklink Output > Output: Start, then double-click Preview Output: Start twice quickly. Review the linked OBS log and crash log to identify the failing Decklink path. Done means the rapid activation no longer hangs or crashes OBS.
