Expected Behavior
I would expect that entering the properties for an item in the audio mixer, making no changes, and clicking "cancel" wouldn't kill all audio for that item. I spent an hour trying to figure out what happened to my sound.
Current Behavior
When I click cancel, audio will no longer come through. The only way I can fix it is to re-add the source, or edit random properties and click OK. The most consistent fix is clicking "Configure Video" or clicking "Defaults" and re-selecting the source.
Steps to Reproduce
- Use capture card (HD60 S+ in my case); 2 PC setup, HDMI IN, USB OUT
- Add capture card as a video source
- Go to the "Properties" of its audio stream in the Audio Mixer
- Click cancel (may take a few tries)

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue on Windows 10 with OBS Studio 27.1.3 and an HD60 S+ capture card, following the listed Audio Mixer Properties and Cancel steps. Trace the audio source properties path to determine why canceling can stop audio. Done means canceling without changes consistently preserves audio, including after repeated attempts.
