Expected Behavior

Expected punctuation to display as entered in all titles in drop-down lists.

Current Behavior

If a Profile or Scene Collection is given a name containing an ampersand ("&"), the ampersand will be visible in the Profile or Scene Collection name shown in the title bar of the OBS Studio window, but will not show in the drop-down list of available Profiles or Scene Collections.

For instance, I have a Scene Collection titled "MAME Pac & Pal"--this name displays in full in the OBS Studio window's title bar, but in the list of scene collections in the Scene Collection drop-down menu, the Scene Collection is shown as "MAME Pac Pal."

Sometimes, a graphical glitch resembling a truncated underscore appears in what would have been the space following the ampersand.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Select "Scene Collection - New...," "Scene Collection - Rename...," "Profile - New...," or "Profile - Rename..." from OBS Studio's top drop-down menus
  2. Put an ampersand ("&") somewhere in the name and click OK
  3. Open the Scene Collection or Profile menu as appropriate and look at the name displayed; compare with how the name is displayed in OBS Studio's title bar

-- The ampersand ("&") in the Scene Collection or Profile name will be visible in the OBS Studio window's title bar, but will not be visible in the list of Scene Collections or Profiles in the drop-down menu; furthermore, in the menu, a space following the ampersand may be filled with a graphical glitch resembling a shortened underscore (see the screenshots under "Current Behavior" above).

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue on Windows 11 with OBS Studio 32.0.2, following the Profile and Scene Collection menu steps in the report. Trace how those drop-down entries are populated and displayed; done means ampersands appear in the menu names as they do in the title bar, without the reported graphical glitch.
