Expected Behavior

The streamed HDR video is the expected content with correct HDR metadata (bt.2020 + pq).

Current Behavior

The video is this green color. The metadata is incorrectly SDR.

Broken HDR video metadata
Steps to Reproduce
  1. Select "QuickSync HEVC" as the video encoder.
  2. Select P010 as the color format.
  3. Select "Rec. 2100 (PQ)" as the color space.
  4. Select the full color range.
  5. Set the HDR peak level to 10000 nits.
  6. Click "Start Streaming".
  7. Play the stream using mpv.

Research direction

Start with the OBS Studio log and reproduce the stream using the QuickSync HEVC encoder, P010 color format, Rec. 2100 (PQ), full range, and a 10000-nit HDR peak. Compare the streamed output in mpv with the expected bt.2020/PQ metadata and green-color behavior; done means HDR content and metadata are preserved.
