Expected Behavior

Should record a full-screen window when playing video.

Current Behavior

OBS preview freezes when going to Fullscreen when using "macOS screen Capture" example, a browser on macOS Sonoma when recording video, it freezes to the last frame until you escape Fullscreen.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to YouTube full-screen mode.
2. In OBS, use macOS screen Capture with the browser window. You may have to check the show fullscreen and hidden windows/applications.
3. The video audio plays, but the video frame freezes till you escape full-screen mode.
4. This happens while previewing also recording.

Anything else we should know?

Workaround - Use the menu bar to "Start" and "Stop Recording" without toggling the windows with cmd + tab after you set the window/application.

Start with the macOS screen Capture source and reproduce the freeze using the linked OBS log, macOS 14, and OBS 31.1.2. Test YouTube fullscreen capture while previewing and recording, including the shown fullscreen and hidden windows options. Done means the captured video frame continues updating through fullscreen transitions while audio remains intact.
