Expected Behavior

correct audio detection of the capture card

Current Behavior

The capture card is only recognized in OBS with 2.0 audio. However, the card supports LPCM 5.1/7.1.
The Avermedia software itself also correctly recognizes 5.1/7.1 and can be recorded. However, in OBS, as mentioned, it is only recognized and recorded as 2.0, even if OBS is set to record in 5.1.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the linked OBS log and reproducing the issue with the Avermedia GC573 on Windows 11 using OBS 31.1.0-beta2. Compare the detected audio channels with the Avermedia software; the issue is done when OBS correctly detects and records LPCM 5.1/7.1 instead of limiting the card to 2.0.
