Mac OS reports that OBS Studio quit unexpectedly, even though all I did was perform an ordinary *close* by clicking on the X

Expected Behavior

I expect to be able to close OBS Studio without an error message from Mac OS that it closed unexpectedly.

Current Behavior

All I did was open OBS Studio, and then click on the X to close it. The next time I start OBS, even if I use the "Reopen" button in the Problem Report of Mac OS, it reports:
OBS did not shut down properly during your last session.

Would you like to start in Safe Mode (third-party plugins, scripting, and WebSockets disabled)?

Starting in Safe Mode or Normal mode, the next time I close OBS Studio the Mac OS report that it quit unexpectedly comes up again.
