Expected Behavior

Virtual Camera to start

Current Behavior

Virtual Camera does not start. All permissions have been accepted except the camera extension as I cannot toggle it in the Login Items & Extensions

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Launch OBS
  2. Click on Start Virtual Camera button
  3. Pop message saying the virtual camera is not installed, please allow OBS to install system software in System Setting -> Privacy & Security -> Security
  4. Go the the system settings as indicated, there is no message to allow OBS extension.
  5. Go to the system settings, Login Items & Extensions, click on Camera Extensions, Toggle OBS, getting the pop with the Failed to enable...shared in current behavior
Anything else we should know?

This is a fresh install of this version of OBS on my MAC. I never installed or got it to work before.

Research direction

Start with the OBS log at https://obsproject.com/logs/k6QEqxX9iMuJy1Qd and reproduce the steps on macOS 15.1.1 with OBS 30.2.3, focusing on the Login Items & Extensions > Camera Extensions failure and the virtual-camera installation prompt. Done means the OBS camera extension can be enabled and Start Virtual Camera succeeds.
