Research direction
Start by reviewing the linked OBS log and crash log for the VLC-related failure on Windows 11 with OBS 30.2.3. Reproduce the VLC playback loss over time and determine the failure path; done means OBS remains running and the video resets or reports an error instead of forcing OBS to close.
