Expected Behavior

Detected resolutions on Mac should be consistent.

Current Behavior

I'm on an Intel MacBook Pro,
when I look in the system property I can see the display is 2560x1600,
but when I look to capture the screen in OBS I see 1440x900,
and when using the automatic setup wizard I see 2880x1800

Steps to Reproduce

open OBS on a Macbook pro and try to screen capture and open the setup wizard

Anything else we should know?

Research direction

Review the linked OBS Studio log, then reproduce the issue on macOS 14 with an Intel MacBook Pro using screen capture and the automatic setup wizard. Compare the system, capture, and wizard resolutions; done means the detected resolutions are consistent across all three places.
