Description

In case of unsorted data, these convenience constructors could sort automatically. We would leave the line constructor as not having a default sort, making it suitable for connected scatterplots and phase plots and such. The same logic could (and should) apply to areaX and areaY.

Research direction

Start by reading the lineY, lineX, areaX, and areaY convenience-constructor entry points, and compare them with the line constructor's current behavior. Done means unsorted data is ordered by the appropriate axis for those four constructors, while line remains unsorted by default.
