The posterior-most region of the holothurian digestive tract, attached to the body wall by
suspensor strands, from the dorsal wall of whose anterior part the respiratory trees arise and
from whose coelomic and luminal epithelia they regenerate after evisceration. (PMID:22160455,
doi:10.1007/s00441-011-1280-9: the cloaca is linked to the body wall through suspensor strands
and the respiratory trees arise as two outgrowths from the dorsal wall of its anterior part.

What I actually need, either way
UBERON:0000162 cloaca is in_taxon NCBITaxon:7742 and its definition is written for
vertebrates. Holothurians have a cloaca in the ordinary descriptive sense, and it is the
structure the respiratory tree arises from. I cannot assert that relation for the companion
request "[NTR] respiratory tree (Holothuroidea)" without violating a taxon constraint.
- Preferred if you are willing: relax the constraint on UBERON:0000162 and reword the definition, keeping the vertebrate wording as a taxon note. Then no new term is needed and this request can be closed.
- Otherwise: add the taxon-restricted class above,
only_in_taxonNCBITaxon:7705.
One caution if you write developmental axioms: the germ layer of origin is unsettled. The
holothurian cloaca is traditionally held to be ectodermal and lined by cuticular epithelium,
but the anterior part has been shown to be lined by enterocytes and to lack a cuticle, which
the authors take to suggest an endodermal origin for that part (PMID:22160455).
