Feature value

I've got some recurring tasks that need a list of steps to be completed. Each time I complete one I have to uncheck all the checked boxes.

It would be awesome if each time a task is marked as completed, all checkboxes are reset

Research direction

Start by locating the code that marks recurring tasks complete and handles checkbox state; the issue does not name a file, entry point, or test. Done means that completing a recurring task automatically resets its checked boxes so the steps can be completed again.
