Research direction
Start by scanning the documentation for Markdown tables that need reformatting, using the VSCode extension mentioned in the issue to identify clearer layouts. The issue names no specific files or tests, so define the sweep scope before editing. Done means the affected tables have consistent, readable formatting throughout the docs.
