Description

I am not sure it is worth reporting this; it is clearly more a user problem than a Numbas editor issue, but maybe it will save others an unpleasant experience.

Doing some edits to a question, then closing Firefox, opening it again and selecting "Restore previous session" restores the question tab but (I think) does not reload a current version of the page from the server, and instead auto-saves the previous version of the question. The edits that had been made are then lost.

Probably there is not much that can be done about this on the side of Numbas, but maybe you have an idea where to mention it in the documentation.

As usual, but with this issue in particular, feel free to close as "not a bug" or "won't fix".

Research direction

Review the reported Firefox “Restore previous session” workflow and decide whether it belongs in Numbas documentation. No documentation file or test is named; done would mean either adding a clearly identified warning in the appropriate documentation or recording that the project will not address it.
