Description

I noticed that cffi is a dependency of pyculib even though the bindings are currently based on ctypes. Are there plans to switch over to cffi?

Research direction

The issue mentions pyculib's current ctypes bindings and its cffi dependency, but names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating those bindings and checking how the dependency is used; done would require a maintainer decision on whether a switch is planned and a documented outcome.
