mouse column mode does not work in google remote desktop

Thanks for npp-- I love it and use it constantly.

Description of the Issue

One feature I use a lot is column mode-- it is a great help in many contexts. However the mouse-based column mode, alt+click, doesn't work when I am using google remote desktop. Other alt-key features all seem to work fine. I do not know if this is a problem with npp, google RD, or maybe windows.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

1. log into machine using google remote desktop
2. attempt to use column mode by alt+click
3. does not work

Expected Behavior

Column mode should be engaged the same as it is when physically sitting at the workstation.

Actual Behavior

Npp just behaves in "normal" select mode as if the alt key is not being depressed (left click and drag select of text).

As a workaround I was just googling and it appears I can use the alt+shift+arrow keys instead. I have not tried this using remote desktop yet but I expect it will work since other alt-based keyboard shortcuts also work fine (will try it next opportunity I get and report back if it does not work).

Start by reproducing alt+click column mode while connected through Google Remote Desktop, then compare it with local use and the documented alt+shift+arrow workaround. Done means mouse-based column selection behaves the same through the remote session, or the issue is confirmed to be outside Notepad++.
