[BUG] in split screen when adjusting devidement position - npp freezes

Description of the Issue

Steps To Reproduce

1. Split screen as in attached screenshots and try to change alignment.

Current Behavior

Npp freezes noticeably before changes take effect.

Expected Behavior

Alignment changes without causing performance issues.

Start by reproducing the freeze with the split-screen arrangement shown in the attached screenshots, using the listed Notepad++ version and Windows 11 environment. Exercise alignment changes and compare the delay before and after the investigation; done means alignment changes without noticeable freezing.
