Description

This model is the SOTA model to split vocals on MUSDB18. In my daily use case, vocal separation is most commonly used.

Here are some inference projects.

Research direction

Start by reviewing how the existing pretrained models are integrated into the Python package and CLI, then read the linked Band-split RNN paper and inference projects. The work is complete when this model can be used for vocal separation through the supported interfaces, with its required model assets and behavior covered by the project’s existing checks.
