Description

In #333 a Table of Contents was added for helping readers and maintainers with organizing content within the docs/ folder.

In that ToC was added a new section for documenting best practices, tips and recommendations for library maintainers, like developer / contributor guidelines, templates, automation and other ways to help assist in the maintenance of a repository, GitHub or otherwise.

  1. Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.
  2. Comment on the issue to say you are picking it up — it saves two people doing the same work.
  3. Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
  4. Open a pull request that references the issue number.

Research direction

Start with the Table of Contents introduced in #333 and inspect the docs/ folder. Clarify which maintainer workflows, guidelines, templates, or automation practices are in scope. Done should be agreed documentation covering the selected workflow topics and linked from the relevant ToC section.
