What is the problem this feature will solve?
Once started, there is currently no way to abandon a database backup operation in node:sqlite.
What is the feature you are proposing to solve the problem?
The sqlite.backup() method should accept an abort signal, which would trigger an early call to sqlite3_backup_finish() to abort and rollback the backup operation.
This would presumably necessitate some sort of JS wrapper.

Research direction
Start at the sqlite.backup() entry point and trace how it reaches sqlite3_backup_finish(). Determine where an abort signal can be accepted and connected to that path, then verify that aborting finishes and rolls back the backup operation. Done means an abort signal reliably stops an in-progress backup without leaving it active.
