Description

I install the node v16.18.0 and enable the corepack as the guide at https://yarnpkg.com/getting-started/install.
And the following error show when I try to run yarn help on my windows 10.

Internal Error: Error when performing the request
    at ClientRequest.<anonymous> (C:\Program Files\nodejs\node_modules\corepack\dist\corepack.js:16064:20)
    at ClientRequest.emit (node:events:513:28)
    at TLSSocket.socketErrorListener (node:_http_client:494:9)
    at TLSSocket.emit (node:events:513:28)
    at emitErrorNT (node:internal/streams/destroy:157:8)
    at emitErrorCloseNT (node:internal/streams/destroy:122:3)
    at processTicksAndRejections (node:internal/process/task_queues:83:21)

Is there anyone who can help me? thanks.

Research direction

Reproduce the failure on Windows 10 with Node v16.18.0 and Corepack enabled, using yarn help as described. Start by examining the request-related stack in C:\Program Files\nodejs\node_modules\corepack\dist\corepack.js around line 16064 and compare the behavior with the Yarn installation guide. Done means identifying the cause of the internal request error and confirming a reliable resolution.
