Research direction

No source file or test is identified. Reproduce the deployment and flow-update behavior in Node-RED using the reported Raspbian, Node-RED 0.18.2, and Node 8.9.4 versions, then inspect node-red-log. Done means modified flows take effect without restarting Node-RED and the behavior is covered by a verified reproduction or test.
