Description

Creating a separate issue for the tests, continuing #84.

Research direction

Review issue #84 and the Gradle configuration paths for --http, --https-proxy, and --noproxy. Add automated integration coverage for those proxy settings, replacing reliance on manual testing, and verify the tests exercise the configured behavior.
