Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by examining the existing polyscope viewer APIs and documentation for point-cloud display and UI overlays, then determine whether an axis legend already exists or would need a new design. Done means defining and exposing a way to show x, y, and z directions for imported point clouds.
