Description
Polyscope is an easy-to-use program. I try to customize the UI using the python version, but the Chinese characters can't be displayed. The display is '?' Is there any way to display it? thanks in advance!

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue in Polyscope's Python interface with Chinese characters and accented names, then trace the UI text-rendering path. Confirm how the displayed '?' is produced and identify the relevant font or string handling behavior. The work is done when general Unicode names render correctly in the UI.
